That’s Right! Video is here to stay – for a long while. And if you are not yet using video to promote your website or blog, shame on you. What is holding you back?

There are many ways to “do” video. Use a simple Flip camera on a tripod. Use Power Point slides and then make a video of them using Jing, a free screen-capture video software. Another way is to use a webcam. The one I use, a Microsoft Life Cam is a fantastic webcam, offering many nice options.

Here are some resources for you to get the juices flowing to start doing video. You can submit them to YouTube and then use a free Firefox plugin called PixelPipe to syndicate your video to about 15 other video sites.

  1. Very nice information. After going through it I started asking myself why I never thought of some of the things you mentioned before, as they seemed so common knowledge. I think it’s best to write down a list of everything & file it away to be used as a checklist taler and memory refresher. It’s just so easy to forget some of this stuff at times & it’s important every once in a while to go back to the basics. Thanks for the info. 🙂
