I was a GVO user for over four years (previously Kiosk.ws). I think those who join with the primary aim of trying to make money with the affiliate program will invariably end up disillusioned and eventually leave, tiring of paying $45 every month. Those who are there for the hosting and marketing tools will benefit from savings over buying separate services, but only if the service levels are improved over recent months.

I did OK as an affiliate but after the move to Texas and the relaunch/re-branding I had a lot of problems, as did many others I know of. As a webmaster, I need reliable hosting and unfortunately GVO eventually fell down on the job just one time too many. I suffered almost two months of downtime following security breaches, hardware failure and incompetent support. Don’t get me wrong, I was happy with them for many years but the damage to my sites rankings and loss of business was way too much in the end, even though I tried to give them time to up their game. I'm not maligning them for the sake of it, and I'm not saying they are a bad host, just that the service was poor during and after the big relaunch. I tried to hold on in the hope they would settle down after all the relaunch excitement but it didn't happen.

I finally moved to a host with a similar affiliate program structure, a far superior email marketing and autoresponder service, and it costs less than half of the price. No reseller account or conference rooms, but I didn’t really need either. So far, support has been first rate, uptime 100%, faster loading times and the knowledge that my data is in what promises to be a far more secure data center set up at the Planet.

Not trying to rain on anyone's parade, just sharing a lot of experience. Oh, and as for all the "big name marketers", sure, some use GVO - but not the service they are selling to others - the big boys are running expensive dedicated servers - you think PayDotCom would stay up long on a Titanium shared account?? ;-)

Well said! I recently joined the GVO team and I've just been blown away by it. The tools and resources they provide are gold. I have to say the GVO Academy training (using their own conference tools they provide to us with our package) from the "GURUS" is really what makes this a true gem for everyone involved. Do you attend the daily GVO Academy training? I keep digging around for information trying to learn as much as I can. I'm nothing short of thoroughly amazed with everything about Global Virtual Opportunities and their offerings. Thank you for supporting the cause!
