Article writing success takes dedication and quite a bit of hard work – at least to start. Do you keep telling yourself that you simply can’t write?

I have talked to a number of people who say they aren’t a writer. I think it is a shame, because I really think you can write if you decide to and take the steps to learn how. I believe you are missing out on a feeling of accomplishment, especially when you finally get your 10th article accepted at EzineArticles.com

I was one of those people who thought I couldn’t write. Actually I knew I could write, once I decided to, but I took a real long time to decide.

One thing that helped me a lot is I found some awesome article writing podcasts on I-Tunes. I found about 10 different podcasts that had a lot of excellent teachings about the structure of an article, how to do a signature box, and creating good titles. If you have I-Tunes, do a podcast search for “article writing” and see what you can find.

Another great resource for you is EzineArticles.com. They have a very extensive and wonderful training section, with a number of neat videos too. They also have some article writing templates that are critical for learning how to construct a powerful and interesting article. Definitely check them out.

One of the templates is called Pain Avoidance. It is a classic way to write an article. Here is the basic strategy:

• Introduce the pain

• Agitate the pain – Why is your reader in pain? Show in as much detail as possible how this pain is REAL and how it is becoming a huge problem. Show a few examples of the pain to drive the point home.

• Introduce a solution to the pain

• Reinforce why your reader is in pain, and how they now have a solution to solve their pain

Templates can save you a lot of time and keep your article organized. Another thing a template does is it gives you new ideas to write about. As in the example above, just think about all the pain  and different problems people have. If you think about this very long, you will never run out of a variety of article ideas.

One of my mentors, Jeff Herring, says “An article a day keeps recession away.” I love this because it is true. It doesn’t matter if your business is online or offline.

Here’s what you do. Build a Word Press blog and start writing articles that are enlightening, educational and relevant to your business, and put them as posts on your blog. You can also submit them to EzineArticles.com and you will be surprised at the number of people that you start attracting to your business.

If you are into network marketing, I want to challenge you to write one article a day for the next 100 days. If you can learn to do this, you will be getting more leads than you ever dreamed possible.
